WIP Stella Twilight Parody

Is common sense so much to ask for? How oblivious, how stupid, how clueless… People make me sick with their unreasonably high expectations.

Surely I must play the part of a heroine just because I’m here, but do I really need to go save anyone? Must I be considered stupid for not wanting to? Must I grieve over “dumb” or “worthless choices” that are forced onto me? Should I surrender myself to an unrequited crush? Just because I’m a nice person, should I have left my so-called new friends walk all over me? And really, would it matter in the long run?

I wish I was wrong…

It’s never unreasonable to feel sad when it’s all gone and done; nothing lasts forever. Temptation and manipulation are just alternative options in this game of life. No one, in their right mind, should linger on the constant fear death and rejection. And if they do, it’s never going to solve anything because things will happen no matter what.

To be honest if I had figured this out last year, I don’t think I would even be in this situation. If I had a backbone back then, he won’t be chasing and hunting after me. I wouldn’t have to hide in the darkness with flashes of my life waning by.
